Earth Matters has been one of India’s most popular and only environment series reaching over 800 million people in India. Anchored by wildlife filmmaker and environmentalist Mike Pandey, thrice winner of the world’s most prestigious environment award – “The Green Oscar”.
The series travels across the varied landscape of India and take stock of India’s rich and vibrant ecological heritage. It attempts to educate and sensitize people to the threats our environment is facing today.
It empowers the viewers with the knowledge that we alone can make a difference. Some of the topics that I am working on are Climate Smart Agriculture, Flood Rescues in Kaziranga, Urban Forests, Medicinal Plants, Human Animal Conflict.
