project details

Reel Nomads were commissioned to create a digital short film on the working conditions of women sanitation workers. This led us to create several more video pieces in the future for other programmes within the organisation.

Outcome
The core purpose of this film was to communicate the impact that mindful interventions can have on the lives of women sanitation workers. While at the same time, the intent was to also highlight their struggles and the injustices that they face in their daily lives. Keeping our filming spontaeneous and with the flow we worked with case studies and experts from the field. The film has become a tool for the organisation to trigger dialogue towards advocay and policy reform.
